A Hidden Truth Ancient Vs Modern

Since my childhood days I have been listening from my elders that when they were young, there used to be much comfort comparing the present. This is a common verse by people of all the ages to outshine present and boast of the past. I used to trust them, but as I grew older, my concious mind defied those old beliefs. How is it possible if we are much more developed technically, socially now. I don't feel so. When there were rule of kings, a single person used to avail all the luxuries and made the common man devoid of it. There were no social right associated with public. Men were just servents lot for a mere live person. There was no respect for their soul. In the hierarchical system of administration, a person's integrity and modesty were outraged upto full extent. Only thing, those days mass media communication was not so popular as it is today. That's why people were not aware of the things running behind curtains of high power profiles.

It's a natural human tendency to take as granted the things which he knows lesser as good one and the fact with which he well versed with, he loses his interest in that becoz of uniformity. This is a bitter truth even in the present scenario. Despite of a lot of media interaction, the central administration appears as a heavely agency, because people don't know about the cursed attache's of those profiles.

To hell, the worse which is often enlighted by media persons remains well known to us, but still the game of hide and seek continues. So, this is the actual advancement in our society. Now people have rights for their soul and they have to adhere some moral obligations as well. This was not in the ancient times. People then were slaves of mornarchs and the goods that we observe in then scenarios, often found to be worst. A small incident of the Holy Ramayana I would like to mention here :

During the rule of Lord Rama, a Brahmin boy died at a small age of 13 years. THis was thought as an act of daemon in return of some evil act. Lord Rama ordered a probe in that and asked what deeds were done by the people on that very day. On investigation nothing abnormal was found except a low caste lad was found to have listened few lines of Holy Veda and was orating those lines which was a banned act for the low caste people. So this was considered as an evil act and finally the boy was awarded a brutal sentence of putting the melting glass in his ears. This sentence was awarded by Lord Rama as evident from Ramayana.

At least such apocalyptic act doesn't happens now a days. We have got judiciary system to prove the points too. Though loop holes are there in every system. But still I find the present system much better than that. If u too agree with my points

PLS GIVE COMMENT ON THIS POINT.
